Army Colonel Abducted In Kaduna

A serving senior Army officer, Colonel Samaila Inusa has been abducted in Kaduna at about 7:30pm on Saturday 26 March 2016.

According to a statement issued on Sunday by the deputy director Army public relations, Colonel Usman Abdul, and made available to newsmen in Kaduna, the abducted senior officer of the Nigerian Army is serving in the Nigerian Army School of Infantry Jaji Kaduna.

He said, Colonel Inusa was abducted around Kamazo near NNPC junction, Kaduna.

He disclosed also that “the abductors dropped off his wife and left with him in his car. The car headed towards Abuja.”

The statement did not say whether or not the abductors have placed any demand, he however called on the general public to assist with any useful information or assistance that could help to track the abductors. 

“They are in a Mercedes Benz GLK Black colour with registration number Abuja, KUJ 154 TZ,” he added.
